Our newest attorney, Nadia Vann passed the Michigan Bar examination and was sworn in as a new attorney in June. Congratulations to Nadia! She is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List. Nadia obtained her Master of Arts in Education from the University of Detroit – Mercy and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University. She was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society at the University of Detroit and the Golden Key Honor Society at Purdue.
Prior to attending law school, Nadia had a long career in special education, most recently with the Ann Arbor Public Schools, as a Special Education Teacher Consultant. Nadia plans to focus her practice on helping families with disabled children, elder law and Medicaid planning, and special needs planning. Later in this newsletter, Nadia provides some helpful back-to-school planning tips for parents of special needs students. She is looking forward to a new career in the law!
